Raisin aromas and nutty rancio characters on a palate that is all rich, sweet raisin fruit with an almost treacle-like consistency and complexity of flavours from decades in old oak casks.
Made available in a dedicated, individual Presentation Box.

    About this winei

This very old and rare Muscat was carefully nurtured at Tahbilk from 1992 to 2004, on behalf of Seabrook Wine Merchants who had originally purchased from premium Rutherglen wineries with the intent to mature, blend and release. Ultimately moved to Yering Station in the Yarra Valley the barrels came up for sale in 2020. Knowing the rare quality of the fortified wine, now over 60 years old, we did not hesitate in acquiring all four barrels.
