Don't Just Take Our Word For It ...
Tahbilk 2024 Marsanne
Tahbilk and Marsanne go hand in hand; though the Rhône variety hails from France, the Victorian producer has some of
the oldest vines in the world.
Think peach skin, honeysuckle florals, lime zip and spiced beeswax, with chalky minerality keeping things fresh and taut. Buy a case, drink some now and cellar the rest."

Tahbilk 2024 Riesling
"Attractive spring florals are a signature of Tahbilk Riesling, together with a gentle delicacy and fine acid detail.
This is so good right now, medium weighted and lifted in Granny Smith apple, citrus, zest and grapefruit pith.
Early drinking will be rewarded."

Tahbilk 2024 Pinot Gris
"Some gentle complexity has been cleverly worked into this wine. Fresh pear and stewed apple mix with honeysuckle, spring blossom mixes with quince paste, melon and spice. Combines crisp acidity with generous gris texture.
One of the better examples at the price."

Tahbilk 2017 '1927 Vines' Marsanne
"1927 Vines is the equivalent of a bottle-aged Hunter Semillon, albeit with Marsanne.
It's ground-breaking in style, showcasing the grape in a different light. Herbals and florals to the fore on the bouquet, penetrating and lifted. High acidity is not a strength of the grape but picked early it's bracing and crunchy against a background of quince, green apple, grilled grapefruit and lemon zest. Still young and coiled tight, give it time."

Tahbilk 2017 'Centennial' Riesling
"Under the 100 Year Anniversary Centennial range of wines celebrating 100 years of Purbrick custodianship of Tahbilk.
Sports eight years' bottle age and attractive florals, citrus and wild herbs with a gentle toastiness that runs long across the palate. Spring flowers rise from the glass with apple, citrus and a light dusting of rosemary. Acidity remains firmly in place on the palate with a tart lime juiciness to close."

Tahbilk 2015 'Centennial' Marsanne
"This is under the 100 Year Anniversary Centennial range of wines celebrating 100 years of Purbrick custodianship of Tahbilk.
Marsanne is Tahbilk and Tahbilk is Marsanne, and so it is perfect timing to taste a 10-year-old Marsanne showing the innate beauty of the grape with age.
Amazingly youthful in colour and a perfume bright in honeysuckle florals, lemon citrus, pear and apricot.
Clean and crisp with a developing texture enhanced by toasty notes and gentle spice. It's going to be a long liver."
