Don't Just Take Our Word For It ...
Tahbilk 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
"A mighty impressive value for money Cabernet from this famous producer.
The aromas are subtle blackcurrant with an infusion of dried herbs and bay leaf with just a trace of nuanced black olive. The palate is medium-bodied and bright as a button while still retaining the essential structure of Cabernet.
A nicely crafted wine."

Tahbilk 2021 Shiraz
"Classic Red ... A new vintage of one of the most reliable reds around – from Victoria’s oldest family-owned winery with a pedigree dating back to 1860. This is a complex and delicious Shiraz released at three years of age that can either be enjoyed now or be cellared for a few years.
It is a lovely mellow wine with a nifty combination of complexity, tannin structure, flavour, and spice notes. A very versatile food wine, too, so it would be well worth having a couple of bottles on hand for when wine-loving friends drop by."

Tahbilk 2015 Shiraz | Museum Release
“The colour isn’t particularly deep, but the hue is bright. The wine, too, is fresher and more lively than those of yore.
The flavours span blackberry, plum and cherry, the tannins ripe and balanced in a medium-bodied palate.
Large oak vats and smaller French and American barrels were used in maturation.”

Tahbilk 2023 Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre
"Asks for little more than a glass and a sunny day and enjoyment will definitely follow. Red fruits shine – cherry, plum – with wild herbs, spice and a lick of musk confectionery. Fine tannins and red-fruit flavours, pepper and spice through the palate with autumnal earthy notes. Made to drink young and lively."

Tahbilk 2020 'Old Vines' Cabernet Shiraz
"Shows plenty of Tahbilk personality: relaxed and confident, no show-off.
It's all about keeping true to an evergreen house style. Emphasises warm, ripe, sweet blackberried fruit and baking spices, earth, briar, chocolate and gentle woodsy oak against a firm tannin background. Has further cellaring age on its mind."

Tahbilk 2015 Centennial 'Old Block' Cabernet Sauvignon
"A mild, early vintage in '15 offers a wonderfully complex, aged Cabernet Sauvignon to celebrate 100 years of Purbrick custodianship at Tahbilk.
Cabernet, the maker's underrated one, comes across as still remarkably youthful with lively black fruits, licorice, spice, earth and background dried herbs. Palate is ripe and sweet fruited, earthy, with spices aplenty and smooth in soft, flowing tannins. A leafy herbal layer persists through to the finish."
