Vintage 2022
The season started off slowly, summer was cool and the rainfall was low in the lead up.
A windy spring certainly disrupted the fruit set, leading to fewer berries per bunch with final yields well down, with some of our blocks by as much as 40%.
The harvest itself ticked along at a steady pace, whites progressed nicely, the reds ripening well and then everything ripened up at once with lots of juggling between whites, rose and red ferments.
With the low yields and challenges of this harvest there is much anticipation around the final release of our 2022 vintage Estate whites and reds.
And the final verdict on Vintage 2022? That will be yours ...
Enjoy Now to 2027/2029
A bright and punchy Riesling with lifted citrus, lime cordial and spice notes on a palate of juicy lime, grapefruit and papaya fruits. A framework of searingly crisp acidity delivers a delicious palate-cleansing refreshment that will equally support the development of a rich, toast and honey complexity with time in the bottle.
Don't take our word for it ...
"Pale lemon with soft green highlights. Aromatic rosewater and talc, redcurrant, guava, lime cordial and pear flesh. Neatly shaped with soft textural generosity and a fine, dry finish. Summer drinking ready to go."

"The 2022 vintage started well, but a windy spring affected fruit set which resulted in reduced yields on some varieties by up to 40 percent. The good news is reduced yields can often improve fruit concentration. That is definitely the case with this riesling, with its charming spring-blossom aromas and bursts of citrus flavour from start to finish. Grapefruit, lemon sorbet, spiced apple, honeysuckle and fennel bring layer after layer of fine riesling goodness to the glass.
Brisk acidity brings the energy."

"I love how fruity the nose an palate are here, but how dry and satisfying it finishes. This is a 'take anywhere' white wine, and a very good one. Citrus and musk characters put on a lovely show before shaping in nicely to the dryness of the finish. 91 Points"
