About this winei

At the time of Tahbilk’s very early beginnings, one of Tahbilk’s founding fathers, John Pinney Bear, placed an advertisement in the leading newspapers of the day across Australia asking for ‘One million strong vine cuttings'.
His advertisement was reasonably successful with Tahbilk receiving around 600,000 cuttings and by the end of 1860, 26 hectares of vines were planted.

The ‘One Million Cuttings’ range of wines were crafted to celebrate that early initiative with a selection of bright, fruit-driven styles with the focus on straight forward enjoyment … we trust that John Pinney Bear would approve.
