A little background on Tahbilk 'Gold Selection' ...
Instantly recognised as being the pinnacle of achievement it was a natural choice that when looking to weave together selected parcels of premium fruit from selected Victorian vineyard sites, that these wines would become our ‘Gold Selection’.
Traditional Tahbilk red wine making techniques are employed in the crafting of this wine, with fermentation in open oak vats that were first used over 150 years ago, prior to maturation in French and American oak before bottling.

When presented with the opportunity to put together a ‘Duet’ blend of fruit-forward and spicy Shiraz with intense, flavour-packed Durif our ‘Gold Selection’ range, instantly recognised as being the pinnacle of achievement, was its natural home.
Bright berry and plum Shiraz aromas and flavours with spice and earthy notes sit deliciously alongside deep dark Durif fruits and touches of dark chocolate. A rich, plush and mouth filling wine ready for total enjoyment now and over the next seven or so years.
Well suited to bold and flavourful pasta dishes or your Sunday roast.
