Pinot Gris 2018

2018 Pinot Gris

13.0% Alcohol ~ Drink Now to 2021/2023

Looking to the French style with our Estate Pinot Gris releases, the grapes are harvested later and riper to achieve texture, complexity and palate weight.
In only its second vintage, this Estate Pinot Gris from the 2018 vintage mirrors the characters that so appealed in the inaugural release. A delightful fruit driven intensity with pear, citrus zest and peach characters, a musky savouriness and seductive floral notes all embraced by a crisp, lip-puckering fresh acidity.
Like the vines that produced it, exalt in its youthful liveliness as a delicious aperitif or to accompany char-grilled prawns with a miso ginger butter.

“Only the second release of this label from the historic winery. A faint bronze colour and aromas of musk, peach and pear. Flavours of citrus and peach with a waxy coating texture.”
